The Ironbridge: perfect in every light...day or night

Hey....it's pumpkin time.....oh yes, that means halloween AND Thanksgiving Day in America at the end of November. So I am busy creating a menu for a little Thanksgiving Dinner Party which i am hosting for some friends - and of course there will have to be the traditional pumpkin pie!!! It is going to be held at Dee's beautiful new house - so table settings will be all important and i know i won't be disappointesd with her creative efforts - and those of the lovely Pat and Stacy -Dee's two gorgeous daughters!!! So it will be fun and frolics that night as we feast together to honour my brother who lives in America.

I've been thinking hard about some re-deorating i want to do in my house - and it might mean the use of a hammer and some other tools as i try to obliterate a really old 70's style brick fireplace from my living room - which should free up some much needed extra space - so it will mean painting, new flooring - a new colour scheme and accessories.....really exciting. The 'mood board' is being prepared....

Tonight we turn the clocks back which inevitably means those longer nights and much shorter days...and lots of hot drinks and comfort food as we try to keep warm and cosy during the long winter months with little sunshine....which is why I like to seize opportunities to go for special walks with friends to our favourite spots, where we can appreciate the beauty of our surroundings and watch the leaves falling off the trees.....so here's to a happy, warm winter to you and lots of lovely cosy nights in, doing whatever makes you happy....
